Did you hear the news? We recently expanded HÜIS to a brick and mortar storefront!

HÜIS The Storefront is located underneath the Lydia Uzzell Interior Design studio in George Town, and filled to the brim with furniture, soft furnishings, home accessories and gifts—all hand-picked by the team at Lydia Uzzell Interior Design to help you create a home you love.

Here are just some of the reasons why we love our new storefront:

1. Now you can shop online and offline 

Browse in store and, if you see something you like, check out all the details online in your own time. Order the same item in a different fabric or size—or even find something similar or a complimentary piece! Vice versa, if you come across something online, pop by The Storefront Monday-Saturday—chances are we’ll have it (or something like it) in store that you can touch, feel and try in real-life before you buy, or take-home same day!

2. You can get professional advice from an interior designer, commitment-free

We offer one-on-one consultations with a HÜIS interior designer with no obligation to commit to a project with us for the long-term. Want to see some finish and fabric samples before you make a final decision? We have a dedicated room just for that in our design studio.

Stocked with designer-approved home furniture, soft furnishings and accessories, touch, feel and try out everything you need to create a home you love.

3. You won’t find anything else like it in Cayman

Every item that we stock is an original and good quality, sourced from Lydia Uzzell Interior Design’s trusted suppliers or carefully researched by our interior design team. Thanks to our curated, rather than catalogue, approach to sourcing all of the hard work has been done for you—plus we rarely reorder the same items, so you’ll always find something unique and new in store. 

4. And if your dream item isn’t there, we’ll source it for you!

You’ve heard of personal shopping for your wardrobe; now you can do the same for your home. Our store manager Deborah is on-hand to offer in-person advice and, if you can’t see your perfect piece on the shop floor, she’ll find it for you. In addition to 100s of items ready to shop online, we can source and custom-order exactly what you’re looking for from our little black book of designers and suppliers.

Our new ranges of home accessories and serveware make for the perfect housewarming gift.

5. Most importantly, it’s affordable

From table lamps and throw cushions to artwork and books, we’ve made sure HÜIS is accessible to everyone. While we do stock some high-end furniture pieces, quality is our number one priority—and you can guarantee these items have been tried and tested by our interior design team, are client-vetted and approved, and competitively priced. 

6. We set out with a mission to help you create a home you love, and now we’re taking it one step further!

We’ll be going back to the basics and putting together a workshop schedule that will help you create your dream home—and we want to design an events calendar just for you.
