Though etymologists will recognise the name ‘Peter’ as a celebration of all things stone, the Peter side table is actually a hymn to stone’s more malleable cousin: natural wood. Sculpted from head to toe in a burnished walnut, the Peter will stand idly yet gracefully by throughout all your sleeping and waking, safely stowing items in its mini drawer and/or serving as a resting place for your latest bedtime read.
Suspended on a slant, the Peter recalls an artist’s easel when viewed from the side, lending a bohemian flare to your bed-scape that’s well suited to designers in search of a less pretentious, more practicable aesthetic. There’s also the inspired detailing of the ‘Dark Walnut’ finish, cleverly applied to help enhance the wood’s engrained topography, along with its rich inherent colouring.
