For Shagreen: Basic cleaning with a dry cloth should be done as soon as possible once a spill occurs. Follow up with a damp cloth, and finally dry the surface once more with a soft, dry cloth. If debris lingers in the grain of the faux shagreen, dip a soft toothbrush into clean water and brush the dirt out using the toothbrush. Follow by drying with a soft, dry cloth. Use of placemats and coasters is recommended to protect the finish. Do not subject the table top to direct heat or sunlight.
