Hand-rubbed Antique Brass finish is a rich, warm gold. Pure brass is polished and burnished by hand to achieve a natural patina. Wax is applied to protect the finish from damage. This finish will continue to patina, and will not resist corrosion from exposure to the elements, most household chemicals, or oil from our skin. After assembly and installation, lightly wipe with a soft, dry cotton cloth to remove any chemicals or oils transferred during handling. Wax may be applied to protect from further patina.
Soft, white metal leaf applied over smooth surfaces. Hand-burnished and waxed to a rich lustre. Burnished Silver Leaf resists patina well. Clean with a dry, soft cloth, and do not expose to the elements or household chemicals.
